2025 Toyota 4Runner Model Range Announced: Complete Pricing from $54,200 to $84,201

Toyota Canada has revealed the complete model range and pricing structure for the all-new 2025 4Runner, introducing eight distinct grades including the first-ever hybrid powertrains. The sixth-generation SUV, arriving at Canadian dealerships in March 2025, combines enhanced capability with new technology across a broader range of models.

Traditional Models Feature 278-HP Engine Starting at $54,200

The entry point to the 2025 4Runner range is the seven-passenger SR5, priced at $54,200. It showcases the new i-FORCE 2.4-litre turbocharged engine, generating 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The TRD Sport, featuring unique styling and sport-tuned suspension, follows at $59,002. The TRD Off Road Premium, equipped with specialized off-road features, starts at $63,702, while the well-equipped Limited grade reaches $68,999.

Hybrid Models Introduce 465 lb-ft of Torque to 4Runner Range

The i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain debuts in four models, starting with the $67,336 TRD Off Road Premium hybrid. This advanced system pairs the turbocharged engine with electric power, creating the most capable 4Runner powertrain to date with 326 total system horsepower. The hybrid lineup extends through the trail-ready TRD Pro at $80,498 and peaks with the specialized Trailhunter grade at $84,201, while the luxury-focused Platinum hybrid commands $73,698.

Technology and Safety Features Standard Across All Grades

Each 2025 4Runner benefits from Toyota's latest technology suite, including the new multimedia system with wireless smartphone integration and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The range offers increasing levels of sophistication, from the SR5's 8-inch display to the available 14-inch touchscreen with JBL premium audio featuring a portable Bluetooth speaker.

Specialized Models Target Distinct Customer Needs

The TRD Sport emphasizes everyday performance with its 20-inch wheels and sport-tuned suspension. For off-road enthusiasts, the TRD Off Road Premium adds essential gear including Bilstein shocks and a locking rear differential. The Limited introduces full-time four-wheel drive and adaptive suspension, while the first-ever Platinum grade tops the range with premium leather and advanced comfort features.

Built on Toyota's new TNGA-F truck platform, every model benefits from enhanced structural rigidity and improved ride quality. The traditional power rear window remains, now joined by an available power liftgate for added convenience. Each grade offers specific equipment packages matched to different driving needs, from daily commuting to serious off-road adventures.
