2025 Toyota Sienna: New Features, New Levels of Comfort
September 11 2024,
Toyota has revealed updates for its Sienna minivan's 2025 model, adding new technology and a high-end Platinum version. The changes seek to boost the family vehicle's attractiveness by incorporating more advanced safety measures, better digital integration, and upscale comforts.
Advanced Rear Seat Reminder: A Global First
The 2025 Sienna debuts Toyota's Advanced Rear Seat Reminder system, a global first for the automaker. This cutting-edge technology uses millimeter-wave radar to detect movement in the rear seats after the vehicle has been turned off and locked. If motion is sensed, the system initiates a series of escalating alerts, including hazard lights, horn activation, and mobile notifications, to prevent occupants from being left behind.
Enhanced Connectivity and Entertainment
All 2025 Sienna models now come standard with Toyota's latest multimedia system, featuring voice-activated commands and over-the-air updates. Higher trims offer a 12.3-inch touchscreen, while the base LE grade includes an 8-inch display. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, ensuring seamless smartphone integration.
Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the available 12-speaker JBL Premium Audio system, standard on Limited and Platinum grades. This system incorporates Clari-Fi technology to enhance digital music quality, creating an immersive listening experience for all passengers.
Luxury and Convenience Upgrades
The newly introduced Platinum grade sets a new standard for minivan luxury. Exclusive features include an integrated vacuum cleaner and a FridgeBox, perfect for keeping snacks and drinks cool on long journeys. The Platinum grade also boasts a 10-inch colour Head-Up Display and two-tone metallic clad wheels for a distinctive appearance.
Interior updates across all grades include refreshed seat materials, new console finishes, and updated colour options. The Platinum and Limited grades feature leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats, while the XSE grade offers sport-tuned suspension for a more dynamic driving experience.
Hybrid Powertrain and Safety Features
The 2025 Sienna continues to offer its efficient hybrid powertrain exclusively, delivering 245 total system horsepower. Front-wheel drive models boast an estimated fuel consumption of 6.6 L/100 km, while all-wheel drive variants achieve 6.7 L/100 km.
Safety remains a top priority, with all models equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This comprehensive suite includes features such as Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
The 2025 Toyota Sienna is expected to arrive at dealerships in the coming months.
